After the success of The Muppet Movie in 1979, our fleeced, felted, and furry friends returned two years later in The Great Muppet Caper, their second live-action film. Here, they scoot off to England where a trio of journalists (Kermit, Fozzie, and (in a bit of nominative determinism) Gonzo) are assigned to cover a jewel heist that Lady Holiday (Diana Rigg) fell victim to. When Miss Piggy joins the scene and folks start getting framed, The Muppets must be thick as thieves in order to clear their names.
