Song and Art of the Spanish Americas

Join us for this sensory immersive experience of the Spanish Americas, featuring performances by the Notre Dame Basilica Schola in conversation with works from the Museum collection. Visitors are invited to follow the choir through the galleries as they lead us through an exploration of colonialism through select works of music and visual art. This pairing of visual art with choral arrangements from the Spanish Americas seeks to honor the richness of artistic production in the region while acknowledging the complexities of its colonial history.
