Academic Training (AT) allows J-1 international students to engage in temporary employment for practical training directly related to their majors. This ISSA information session covers all the relevant details of the application process, timelines, and reporting responsibilities while on Academic Training; the presentation is 45 minutes and there will be 15 minutes for questions.
Whether your program end date is May or August 2024, or you are interested in pursuing an opportunity prior to graduation, then you should be thinking about your Academic Training application timeline.
