Optional Practical Training (OPT) allows F-1 international students to engage in temporary employment for practical training directly related to their majors. This ISSA information session covers all the relevant details of the application process, timelines, and reporting responsibilities while on OPT; the presentation is 90 minutes and there will be 30 minutes for questions.
If your program end date is May or August 2024, then you should be thinking about your Post-Completion OPT application timeline. USCIS has very specific deadlines that must be considered when applying for OPT, and this session will prepare you to file successfully.
