Snite @ Nite: Around the World in One Snite

Planned to be abroad this semester? Have the travel bug? Pandemic grounded all your flights? We can help! Head over to the Snite Museum of Art to travel around the world in one “sNite!” Visit Ireland, Mexico, South Africa, China, and Italy by exploring works of art through fun activities. You won’t need your luggage or your passport for this adventure, but masks are required.

Haunted Tales of Notre Dame

Location: Snite Museum of Art

Students are invited to join the Office of Student Enrichment for a Haunted Tour to explore the haunted history and mystery of Notre Dame's campus. Groups of 10 and under will depart with a tour guide from the Snite Museum of Art. The last group will leave at 9:30 p.m.

Picnic and Pops Concert with the Notre Dame Glee Club and Notre Dame Symphony Orchestra

Bring a blanket and chairs and enjoy this free concert.

Care for Our Common Home: Celebrating St. Francis of Assisi and the 5th Anniversary of Laudato Sí

Campus Ministry and the Office of Sustainability will recognize and celebrate the spirit of St. Francis and the call of the Holy Father in Laudato Sí, which celebrates its 5th anniversary in 2020, through an event held Saturday, Oct. 3 from 3-6 p.m.  This event will tangibly work toward caring for our common campus home through prayer, service, outreach, education, and a sustainable DIY project (making reusable dining hall bags from old t-shirts).

UCC Conversation Space

Conversation Space is a safe, open-ended drop-in opportunity for support and authentic conversations between Notre Dame students and facilitated by Peter Barnes, Ph.D. Here, students are encouraged to talk about common issues, make connections, and provide mutual support. There is no set agenda for each meeting, which means the group can flexibly adapt to what students want to talk about, including issues related to stress, loneliness, diversity and inclusion, perfectionism, imposter syndrome, and various social challenges. Dr. Barnes may also occasionally provide some prompts to stimulate discussion, or provide useful information or opportunities to help with coping skills.
