About Vinyasa Flow Yoga
Vinyasa comes from the Sanskrit word that translates to consciousness in motion, so this class encourages participants to connect to the present moment and allow mind and body to work as one in this class. Breath and movement are heavily linked in this class, where each movement has a breathing pattern to enhance the connection between conscious and unconscious movement. Flows generally refer to a sequence of yoga postures that are ordered to seamlessly connect from one to another.
