Erik Simon, Graduate Career Consultant in The Graduate School, will discuss the benefits of effective communication and why this skill is so important for career development and everyday life. This talk will focus on creating a well-organized and effective oral presentation for research posters and other professional communications. Participants will also develop a concise and meaningful explanation of their research projects for a broader audience, similar to a three-minute elevator pitch.
