Words in Prayer & Song

Join us as we recreate a small part of the sacred lives that the paintings in the exhibition Divine Illusions: Statue Paintings from Colonial South America had in 17th- and 18th- century Peru and Bolivia. Each program will begin with a praying of the rosary to be followed by a choral performance.

This month the rosary will be led by FaithND’s Noel Terranova and Collegium Musicum will be performing Spanish Siglo de Oro (Spanish Golden Age) sacred music in the exhibition. Collegium Musicum is a small vocal ensemble specializing in sacred and secular music from the Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque eras. It is open to all members of the Notre Dame and greater South bend community and is directed by Dan Stowe
