Workout for Water

Location: Colfax Bridge, downtown South Bend

Come workout in one of the most unique settings ever — right on the Colfax Bridge in Downtown South Bend. You’ll be working out over the South Bend River Lights – so wear some glow gear, glow paint, or grab some while you’re there. Workout for Water is partnering with Les Mills and UNICEF to help deliver clean, safe drinking water in Ethiopia.

(Free to Notre Dame faculty, staff and students.)

Schedule:
7:00 PM – Gate Open, Live DJ – Beats by Berts, Various Fitness Demos, Food Trucks, South Bend Brew Werks Beer Oasis, Registration & Merch with Ali on the Boulevard.

8:00 PM – Glow for Grit. Signature Les Mills GRIT ™ Cardio workout with National Presenter, Kerri Anderson (30 mins). LES MILLS GRIT ™ Cardio is a 30-minute high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workout that improves cardiovascular fitness, increases speed and maximizes calorie burn. This workout uses a variety of body weight exercises and provides the challenge and intensity you need to get results fast.

8:45 PM – Les Mills BODYFLOW (30 mins). During BODYFLOW an inspired soundtrack plays as you bend and stretch through a series of simple yoga moves and embrace elements of Tai Chi and Pilates. Bring a yoga mat.

All ages and skill levels welcome! Even if you don’t want to work out, come join us for some food/drinks, great river views, and good tunes…all for a good cause.

Free Parking Areas Include: Century Center Parking Lot, the Main/Colfax Parking Garage (across from Fiddler’s Hearth), or On-Street Spots along Michigan Street. Enter event site via Colfax & Dr. MLK Boulevard.
