2022 PhotoFutures Acquisition Unveiling

The newest PhotoFutures acquisition is here! PhotoFutures students chose Andrew Lichtenstein’s 1997 Visiting Day, Hughes Unit, Gatesville, Texas to add to the Snite Museum's permanent collection. Participants chose this image to support teaching and research on incarceration and as a superb visual reminder of the impact of incarceration on those who are incarcerated and beyond.

Drop by to see the photograph, celebrate its acquisition, and hear from those who selected it. Remarks will begin at 4:15 p.m. by participating students Nadxielli Arredondo '25, Morgan Blakey '25, Emma Cimino '25, Taylor Erickson '24, Nicholas Guiney, C.S.C. '23 MDiv, Alexis Kelly '23, Audrey O'Shaughnessy '23, and Matthew Talamantes '23 MGA.
