Caring for Women and Children Webinar Series

Following the U.S. Supreme Court’s historic decision in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, the University of Notre Dame’s de Nicola Center for Ethics and Culture and the Notre Dame Office of Life and Human Dignity at the McGrath Institute for Church Life are hosting a panel discussion series addressing questions facing women, physicians, and policy makers entitled “Caring for Women and Children: Navigating Medicine, Law, and Policy After Dobbs.”

This series is part of the de Nicola Center's Women and Children First Initiative.

This third and final discussion in the series will address the future and how to provide the very best medical treatment and social support to mothers, babies (born and unborn), and families. Panelists include:

  • Patrick Brown, Fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center
  • Katherine Callahan, MD, MPA, Associate Director at Memorial Hospital’s Family Medicine Residency Program in South Bend; adjunct professor through the Hillebrand Center at Notre Dame
  • Jenny Hunsberger, Vice President of Women's Care Center
  • Sen. Katrina Jackson, D-34th District, Louisiana State Senate
