-

Location: Coleman-Morse Center, first floor lounge (View on map.nd.edu)

Jim Towey was a friend and trusted advisor to Mother Teresa of Calcutta for 12 years, and later, to U.S. President George W. Bush as a member of his senior staff and counselor on programs for the poor. At his talk on Wednesday, Oct. 26 at 7:30 p.m. in the Coleman-Morse lounge, Towey will tell his story, share lessons on how to live your Catholic faith as a leader in a secular culture, and challenge you to change the world around you just as Mother Teresa did. A copy of Towey’s new book, To Love and Be Loved: A Personal Portrait of Mother Teresa (Simon and Schuster) will be given to 10 lucky students. His talk is guaranteed to make you laugh, think and grow. Towey is a proud parent of two Notre Dame alumni.

This talk is co-sponsored by the McGrath Institute for Church Life
