This interactive workshop will introduce skills that successful performers use to increase and sustain their concentration and focus. You are going to be distracted. In this workshop, you will learn how to: 

• Recognize and eliminate potential environmental and personal distractions 

• Create an optimal environment for studying 

• Re-focus when you do get distracted 

• Make a plan to stay focused in distracting environments

Your ability to attend to the important tasks at hand and sift through the unimportant distractions can positively increase your productivity as a grad student.
