Head to Compton Family Ice Arena for an evening full of skating during our annual Family Skate night!

Family Skate includes

  • Skate rental
  • Chance to take a picture with a special guest (he wears a red suit and loves cookies and milk)

*Note: Family Skate is suitable for any child that can walk! Assistant racks will be available for the little ones. Even if they can’t skate – they can come along with the help of the assistant racks!

Price

  • $6 per person
  • Any participant who plans to be on the ice will need to register (regardless of what age)

Registration

Registration opens on RecRegister beginning October 16. Registration ends November 25 at 5:00 p.m. Open to families of Notre Dame students, faculty, staff, and retirees.

Steps to register your family members on RecRegister for Family FuNDays:

Registration

Registration is required for Family FuNDays due to limited availability. Registration for Family FuNDays is via RecRegister. Reserve your family’s spot online via RecRegister. Notre Dame students, faculty, and staff may use their netID and password to log in. Spouses need to obtain their unique user ID and password by emailing Kendra Bayne at kbayne@nd.edu.

If you are a Notre Dame student, faculty, or staff registering your family for a Family FuNDay - follow the directions below to register your family members on RecRegister for Family FuNDays:

  1. Go to RecRegister.
  2. In the top right hand corner of the page, select ‘Log In.’
  3. ‘Select ‘NetID Login.’ 
  4. Enter in your Notre Dame netID credentials.
  5. Click your netID in the top right hand corner of the page to display your account information.
  6. Then click ‘Personal Information’ on the left hand sidebar.
  7. Scroll down until you see the ‘Add a new Dependent’ button. Click this button to add your family’s information. You may add your spouse or children as dependents to your account. 
  8. Once you have added your family’s information, click the sidebar navigation and select ‘Family Skate.’
  9. Select the ‘Family Skate’ offering you wish to register for and begin your registration.

If you are a Spouse of a Notre Dame student, faculty, or staff registering your family for a family FuNDay - follow the directions below to register your family members on RecRegister for Family FuNDays:

If you are a spouse trying to register your family members for a Family FuNDay and do not have an account for RecRegister, you need to obtain a unique user ID and password by emailing Kendra Bayne at kbayne@nd.edu. Once you have received your credentials, you may move forward with the steps below.

  1. Go to RecRegister.
  2. In the top right hand corner of the page, select ‘Log In.’
  3. ‘Select ‘NetID Login.’ 
  4. Enter in your Notre Dame netID credentials.
  5. Click your netID in the top right hand corner of the page to display your account information.
