Shred Your Home Files at Work Day

-

Location: Mason Services Center Parking Lot (View on map.nd.edu)

Do you have old bank statements, checks, copies of bills or other confidential papers piling up at home?  The University’s shred provider, Shred-it, in conjunction with the Office of Sustainability is offering a free, secure, confidential documentation shredding for all University faculty, staff, and students on Friday, April 12th from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm.

A Shred-it truck will be parked in the parking lot of the Mason Services Center, which is located off of St. Joseph Drive behind the Notre Dame Federal Credit Union.  The truck accepts paper only, so please be sure to remove all binders before dropping off your documents for shredding (staples are acceptable).  Please note:  There is a limit of five file-size storage boxes for shredding.

This year, we will also be collecting your worn-out tennis shoes, which will be turned into a material used to make athletic shoes, apparel, and surfaces. Please note: cleats, sandals, boots, or dress shoes cannot be accepted.

For more information, please contact the Office of Sustainability at green@nd.edu, or 574-631-2748.
